Here are 10 new singles released recently that should be showing up on the playlists of DJs on BMFR! Hope you have time to check them out!
Eric Bibb – Take The Stage

Eric’s new single is a chill acoustic tune with a reminder of the power of love in a crazy world.
The Imaginaries – Crossroads (ft. Joe Bonamassa)
The Imaginaries are a husband/wife duo out of Oklahoma that got Joe Bonamassa to sit in with them for this blues rockin’ tune…not bad at all!
Joanne Shaw Taylor – All Things I Said
Joanne’s new tune is more adult contemporary than blues but it’s all good. She could sing and play the London phone book and I would listen!
Samantha Fish – I Put a Spell on You (Live)
A fabulous jammin’ live version of the classic Screamin’ Jay Hawkin’s tune…oh yeah!! I could swear she recorded this at the Telluride Blues & Brews Fest where I got to hear it several weeks ago!

Elles Bailey – 1972 (Acoustic)
I love the finger pickin’ on this acoustic version of a song included on British artist Elles Bailey’s latest album Beneath the Neon Glow. Elles’ powerful voice has hints of Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt in it which works perfectly on this nostalgia tune.
Mississippi MacDonald – I Got What You Need (Single Edit)
British bluesman Mississippi MacDonald just cranks out some badass blues on his latest single…mhmm!
Jovin Webb – Mine Someday

Another great teaser single from his forthcoming album on Blind Pig Records. Jovin hails from my home state of Louisiana and has that perfect mix of blues and R&B in his DNA.
Greyhound’s Washboard Band – Don’t Ditch It (ft. Bad Temper Joe)
This is the title cut for the German group Greyhound Washboard Band’s latest album. You can see the great review of the album by Zel here on the BluesBeat blog!
Swamp Music Players – Swamp Wizard (ft. Steve Craik)
Mhmm…some blues rockin’ swamp music from a group out of Canada!
Kai Strauss – Old Fashioned Daddy

Kai has been kickin’ out the blues in Europe for over 30 years. He has a style similar to Duke Robillard and Ronnie Earl and a tone on his guitar that reminds me of Jimmie Vaughan. This is just a tremendous tune!
