Can’t Miss Tracks: That’s What Love Will Make You Do, Bed For My Soul, Imagine
It has been five years since GRAMMY-nominated bluesman Frank Bey passed away. This compilation album is a tribute to the stellar career of an authentic Bluesman.

About the Album
While not a well known name in blues fan circles, he has released five albums between his debut album Steppin Out in 98 and his final album All My Dues Are Paid in 2020. All My Dues Are Paid was nominated for a Grammy as Best Traditional Blues Album in 2020, the nomination came just prior to his untimely death at age 74.
This brings us to the just released album Peace, an eleven track compilation that sums up Bey’s, Nola Blue Records label recording career beautifully. Bey’s deep rich voice would sound just as good on a 60’s Motown classic as on a Blues track as the opener That’s What Love Will Make You Do, highlights perfectly. There are 2 acoustic gems on the album, his cover of Keb Mo’s City Boy and his nod to Country Blues with Bed For My Soul showcasing Bey’s powerful, deep and soul stirring vocals. The final number, a heartfelt cover of John Lennon’s Imagine leaves you with the hope that “peace” is possible.
In conclusion
This album deserves a serious listen to and should be in heavy rotation on any serious fan of the Blues playlist.
