It is just so cool to hear Foghat continuing to crank out great blues rock tunes after all these years. Oh yeah! And I hear that their current album, Sonic Mojo, is getting consideration for a Grammy nomination!
Saverio Maccne – She Was A Wonder
I have been following Saverio’s career for a number of years now. He is a great talent that is based in Finland and tours all over Europe. He also occasionally makes it back home to Argentina where he grew up listening to the British blues and then forged a deeper understanding of the roots of blues in the delta!Â
Jeff Beadle – Hard Times
Great tune by an artist from Welland, Ontario! As I keep sayin’, there is an awful lot of badass blues comin’ out of Canada and has been for many years now!
Daniel Anderson and Heroic Dose – Rich Man (Wish I Was)
Cool tune by a guy out of North Carolina! I just hope he and his family are okay after Hurricane Helene! Thoughts & prayers to all those that weathered that horrible storm!!
Weird Creature – Hard Mentality
Swamp blues with a touch of Chris Isaac from a band out of the UK…mhmm!
