I hope you enjoy looking through the list of new Blues & Blues Rock and upcoming releases for the end of April 2026. The highlight of the new releases is the Mike Zito recording! And the North Carolina blues are also given attention with new albums from Reed Turchi and Daniel Anderson and Heroic Dose. For fans of Cream from back in the day, the new Jack Bruce compilation should bring back memories. Jodi Stapler from Pennsylvania is well worth a listen and the debut album by 21 year old Brazilian blues rocker Guto Konrad is pretty cool. (My guess is he listened to a lot of Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan growin’ up!)
Among the upcoming recordings is a new listing for Beth Hart. She is going to release a deluxe version of You Still Got Me which will include six new tracks. Albums by Albert Castiglia, Joe Bonamassa, Thorbjorn Risager and Kenny Wayne Shepherd are also on the way.
